HER STORY

I am a proud 12-year resident of Greece, a mom, and a homeowner deeply invested in the future of our town. 

I am a worker and a workers’ rights advocate. As a public sector employee and a member of the New York State retirement system, I have spent almost twenty years working in the public sector — sometimes on the union side, sometimes on the management side

.

That’s an unusual thing to be able to say, and it shapes how I serve. I have sat on both sides of a hard conversation. I know how budgets actually get built, how a contract really gets honored, and how easy it is for the person at the far end of a decision to be forgotten.

Those daily issues are the job: street paving, zoning, squatters in vacant homes, sewer problems, and enhancing our parks. They are not glamorous. They are what makes a neighborhood livable, and they are what people actually call about.

Transparency is my priority. Residents shouldn’t need a connection at Town Hall to find out what the board decided or why. And every voice in Ward 3 — from every walk of life — should be heard and seen.

Because of New York State’s change to election years, this seat is a one-year term. I’m asking Ward 3 to join me in my re-election so the work continues. Thank you.
